Capacity Development & Institutional Strengthening Workshop for Members of Fanji Women Development & Cultural Association (FAWODCA)

In commemorating the one-year anniversary of the Generation Equality Forum Mexico and raising visibility around the action coalitions as well as the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), Women for a Change organized a two days capacity strengthening workshop with senior executive members of the FAWODCA group, as part of her commitment in advancing the generation equality action coalition on movement alliance building and support to women’s groups and networks work for gender justice. This training is the first in a series of institutional supports Wfac seeks to provide FAWODCA.

This training resulted from a need assessment finding from the newly created Fanji Women’s Development and Cultural Association (FAWODCA) in November 2021 at the launch of FAWODCA structure at Limbe.

The two-day capacity strengthening program was hosted in Bafoussam from the 28th of February to the 3rd of March 2022 on the theme, Capacity Development, and Institutional Strengthening Workshop for members of the Fanji Women’s Development and Cultural Association (FAWODCA). Worthy of note is that from the designing and delivering of the training, both FAWODCA and Wfac co-designed and collectively worked on the training agenda and outcomes.
