Welcome to College MBA, a bilingual secondary school situated at Yassa, Douala, Littoral Region in Cameroon as the gShe returns for the New Year. A year highly anticipated; marked with both global, regional and national events such the Beijing+30, CPD58, COP30 and the Presidential Elections in Cameroon; events that will shape the lives and futures of young people, most especially adolescent girls and boys in Cameroon and beyond.
The gShe returned with same momentum and strive to continue in its decade long process of engaging adolescent girls and boys in school with discussions on and about the sexual and reproductive health and rights; how this information can help equip them with the right knowledge, skills and leadership required to negotiate their rights and make informed and meaningful decisions about their lives.
It was always as expected, a warm and heartfelt reception by the school authorities, followed by new year wishes from the team and a visit to the classrooms where the team reignited conversations that concerned the discuss of the day.

This return to school marked the beginning of what we anticipated to be a “breakthrough year” for youths and women, and the gShe will continue to play its role as a reinforcer of positive attitudes and gender equality. With the year just unfolding, the program still seeks to continue in mobilizing more adolescents and young people in and out of schools across the different regions of Cameroon, to impart them with the necessary information, knowledge and skills required to make informed decisions about the sexual and reproductive health, including building climate justice advocates who will lead conversations on and about climate change and justice.
