Forum on CSOs Contributions to the National Road Map on DD

Cameroon, like most African nations has expressed commitments and demonstrated aspirations in delivering for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as in harnessing the Demographic Dividend by 2030 and 2063 respectively. It is on the basis which in preparation for the July 2017 the Heads of States summit in Addis, Abeba, the organisation Women for a Change, Cameroon will work closely with the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT), the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family (MINPROFF), Ministry of Youth Affairs (MINJEC), United Nations agencies and other civil society entities, to map out key actions and priorities from the AU roadmap, so as to expedite the implementation and realisation process of the demographic dividend in Cameroon.


Activities
The activities of the Forum will be conducted around the four thematic pillars:
• Employment and Entrepreneurship
• Education and Skills Development
• Health and Wellbeing
• Rights, Governance and Youth Empowerment

Feeding: A healthy feeding will be provided to all participants

Transportation/Accommodation: Participants shall be responsible for the cost of their accommodation and transportation to/from the forum.

Venue: Venue shall be communicated to all confirmed participants by email/SMS latest May 28th 2017 5pm.

Deadline for exression of interest is: May 25th. 5pm

Communication / Documentation
Most of the documentation for this forum including the report, pictures will be shared electronically. Except otherwise will any document be provided in hard copies as we are also environmentally friendly.
